How to use Modbus TCP
In this Article you will find out how to proceed or setup Modbus TCP Comunication
Conditions for Using the ModbusTcp Connection to the SmartLogger
- The network communication between the Modbus TCP client and the WAN port of the SmartLogger is normal.
- There are no firewalls or port restrictions on network devices such as route. (Mobus TCP uses port 502.)

The (default) IP of SmartLogger WAN port is 192.168.0.10
my Modbus Tcp Tool is installed on my laptop. The IP of my laptop is 192.168.0.99

Open the software Modbus Poll
You will click => "Monitoring" => Logger(Local) => Running Info - Line 23:

Configure Modbus Poll。
Slave ID: 0 mean the Smartlogger address。
