Adding a User account
This section describes how to add a user on the NetEco 1000S. You can add users as required. The operation permissions of users vary according to user categories.
Prerequisites
- You have logged in to the NetEco 1000S.
- You have logged in as the installer.
Procedure
- Choose System > User Management from the main menu.
- Choose User from the menu bar on the left.The User page is displayed
- Click Create User.The Create User page is displayed.
- Set the user parameters:
User Name:
The user name can only contain English characters (A to Z and a to z), digits, hyphens, or underlines.
Password:Password of the new user. The password must comply with the following rules:
- The password cannot be the same as the user name or the user name in a reversed order.
- The password contains 8 to 32 characters.
- The password contains three of the following:
- Lowercase letters
- Uppercase letters
- Digits
- The password is advised to contain special characters, which include !"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^`{_|}~ and space.
Email Address
Email address of the user.
User Type
Type of the user.- Guest - A guest user can only query and export data and modify some plant configurations.
- Customer - A customer can only access the Overview page.
- OpenAPI User - The OpenAPI user can only invoke authorized Open API ports but is not allowed to perform foreground operations.
- Installer - An installer has all system administrator rights except for the device search, device access, email server settings, system logs, software management, and system settings rights.
User Status
Enable: The user can log in to the NetEco 1000S.
Disable: The user is disabled and cannot log in to the NetEco 1000S.
Company
Company description of the user.
Select a PV plant that can be accessed
Permission for the user to access the PV plant. - Click OK
The added user is displayed in the user list in the User page.
